The last time I went to Pinhel

    One of the cities I like a lot in Portugal is Pinhel, in Guarda district, near Serra da Estrela mountain.

    It's a quiet city, with monuments that date back to Roman Era.

    It takes about 2h30m to get there by car, if you take the highway (about 230Km).

    But when you begin to get close to it, you feel the difference between the coast and the interior of Portugal - the calm, the different smells, the low traffic, the fields of wheat, of olives, the granite you see as you go through the land.

    It's a relaxing voyage, either you're driving or just envoying the views.

    As you approche the city, you see it's imposing towers from the distance and know that there is a lot of history there.

Uma das vilas mais pitorescas de Portugal, bastante conhecida pela Feira Medieval e pela Festa do Chocolate.

Sendo uma vila medieval, as suas ruas estreitas são a sua característica mais marcante.

As suas casas brancas e azuis, as igrejas ricamente decoradas e o seu Castelo são paragem e passagem obrigatórias num roteiro cheio de romantismo e fantasia que se encontra nesta terra encantada e encantadora. 

 

Dino Parque da Lourinhã

Uma visita pré-histórica

No passado sábado, fui até Lourinhã visitar o Dino Parque.

Acreditem-me, não esperava passar umas horas tão bem passadas.

Além de ter estado em boa companhia (meu namorado e minha sobrinha), o espaço é muito bem aproveitado, os percursos são fáceis, as informações sobre os "habitantes" estão sucintas mas bem explicativas.

Além de ter restaurante, tem espaço para uma familia levar a sua merenda e comer por lá (mesmo neste momento de pandemia, as mesas estão bem separadas e existem bastantes lugares onde podemos parar para comer alguma coisa).  

Quem tiver filhos em idade escolar, é uma boa ideia para as aulas de ciências onde podem tirar ideias e falar sobre... Dinossauros!

Recomendo vivamente uma visita a este parque jurássico!
